The 2011 Credit Disability and Involuntary Unemployment claim termination study is under way. Several companies' data have been received and processed.

The result of the study will be the first ever claim continuance table using credit disability and unemployment experience data. The Credit Insurance Experience Committee is hopeful that it will change (for the better) the way that companies calculate continuing claim reserves.

Results should be available through the SOA later this year or early next.
